Learn the Rules of Sea Transportation in US through CFR 46 Title

Traveling through the US waters requires certain guidelines to be followed by the ship transporters. These guidelines are provided in a form of document known as Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). This code is prescribed by different administrative bodies working under the US federal government and is enforced upon the ship operators by the US Coast Guards. CFR contains 50 titles, but the important ones are CFR 29, CFR 33, CFR 46, CFR 47 and CFR 49 as they cover most of the regulations governing the US maritime industry. CFR 46 title explains the shipping process in the US waters in detail by describing governance principles for the United States Coast Guard, the United States Marine Commission and the United States Maritime Administration. It contain 9 volumes and 599 parts covering different aspects of shipping in US. Title 47 of CFR contains the U.S. federal regulations for telecommunications. It is available in 5 volumes that provide information on the use of various telecommunication devices and services such as mobile, internet, satellite communications and radio broadcasting while commuting in different ways.
